Monty Navarro is a poor clerk who finds out he is ninth in line for an earldom. But his family doesn’t want him around. So, Monty decides to eliminate the eight relatives in his way. Each removal is funny and clever, never too dark. While doing this, Monty also juggles two loves: Sibella, who seeks elegance, and Phoebe, who provides warmth. The whole story builds up to a well-timed trio called I've Decided to Marry You. For a full synopsis, check the show page at (MTI).

A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder combines sharp lyrics with lovely music. The music is by Steven Lutvak, lyrics are by Robert L. Freedman and Lutvak, and Freedman wrote the book. Darko Tresnjak directed the original Broadway show, with choreography by Peggy Hickey. The costumes were designed by Linda Cho, which play a big part in telling the story. You can find more details in the (Playbill Vault) and (MTI).
